On March 17, Kayla shared this photo with fans. In it, she revealed that it was mere hours before fans would know the gender of her unborn baby. “Are you team boy 💙 or girl 💕?” she captioned the shot.

Free Throws or Pink Bows?
As you could see in the first pic, the theme of the party was “Free Throws or Pink Bows” and Luke had a special plan to reveal the exciting news. It all started when he had a friend hand off a basketball to him.

Dunkin’ on ‘Em!
Once Luke got the ball, he leaped into the air to dunk the ball into a basketball hoop in their driveway. In the background of the video, you can hear tons of friends and family members screaming their excitement!

He made the dunk! The crowd went absolutely wild as the basketball sailed through the hoop. And then …

The Big Reveal!
As soon as the ball hit the ground, it shattered to reveal a puff of pink smoke … meaning Luke and Kayla are having a girl! Just look at Luke’s reaction. He can’t wait to have a daughter!

In the background, Kayla and the rest of the family hooted and hollered, thrilled to welcome the couple’s first daughter. Of course, Kayla already has a son named Izaiah from a past relationship. It looks like he’s going to get to be a protective big brother!

Soon after the happy news, Kayla shared this sweet pic holding her son and smooching her man with the caption, “I know you guys see that pink powder on the ground 💕🙌🏼 We can’t wait for our lil princess to get here 😭😭.” How sweet!

When a fan asked Kayla about her current relationship with her ex Stephan in a recent Instagram Q&A, she said, “We don’t have one. He hasn’t seen Zay since November. Not doing any more Stephan questions.” So awful!

The Next Step
Kayla shared the exciting news that she was dating Luke in September 2018, and not long later, even more happy news came. On February 10, she revealed via Instagram that a baby was on the way.
