As a member of the US National Team, she currently holds the world record in 4 × 100 meter mixed relay content. Soni has won a total of twenty-two medals in major international competitions, 14 gold, seven silver and one bronze in the Olympic, World, University and Pan-Pacific Championships. She took to the international stage at the 2008 Summer Olympics, where she won two silver and one gold. In 200 meters of frog swimming at the Olympics, she set a world record on her way to HCV, shocking Leisel Jones.
