Peter Mullan is a Scottish actor, filmmaker, and activist. His film credits include Braveheart (1995), Trainspotting (1996), My Name Is Joe (1998) and the Harry Potter film series (2010–11), among others.

He has three children with his former wife, actor and scriptwriter Ann Swan; and one with his former partner, activist Robina Qureshi.
