She was born in China on June 18, 1994.  She studied at The Attached Middle School of Sichuan Conservatory of Music, majoring in violin, but dropped out to audition for SNH48. At the annual general elections, SNH48 was elected as No.4 (2014), No.2 (2015), No.1 (2016) and No.1 (2017) among more than 100 leaders. She is recognised as an actress for her appearance in the historical romance drama Legend of Yunxi (2018) and the mythology drama The Legend of White Snake (2019).

She is recognised as an actress for her appearance in the historical romance drama Legend of Yunxi (2018) and the mythology drama The Legend of White Snake (2019).

On 7 January 2017, she participated in the third Request Time in SNH48, in which her song “Don’t Touch,” performed with Zeng Yanfen and Zhao Yue, came in first, giving her the chance to release her second solo single. On 15 February, Detective Samoyeds took on her first leading role in the detective web drama. The show was a hit, gaining 10 billion views at the end of its two seasons. In May, Ju was named as one of the recipients of the May 4th Medal, presented by the Chinese Communist Youth League (CCYL) to outstanding young people who have achieved impressive achievements in agriculture, hi-tech science, news reporting, politics and law, the army and the police. That same month, Ju released her second EP, Yes or No. During the fourth general election of SNH48 held on 29 July, Ju came first with 277781.3 votes, becoming the first SNH48 member to hold the position of Senbatsu center for a consecutive year. In August, she starred in the fantasy drama Xuan-Yuan Sword: Han Cloud, portraying a gentle, mute child.

In 2018, Ju appeared in the historic drama Legend of Yunxi. She also sang theme songs for the film, “The Fallen Flowers Turn into Mud,” and “The Sigh of Yunxi.” The show was a commercial success and received favorable reviews of the light-hearted and sweet plot, which contributed to an rise in Ju ‘s popularity. The same year, Ju stared at Mr. Swimmer’s romantic comedy drama. Ju also became a judge of the musical variety show The Chinese Youth.

In 2019, Ju appeared in the web series adaptation of the Chinese folk tale Tale of the White Snake, playing the title role of Bai Suzhen. She also sung the soundtracks for the series, including a new rendition of popular songs such as “Qian Nian Deng Yi Hui,” “Du Qing” & “Qing Cheng Shan Xia Bai Suzhen.” In the same year, Ju starred as a female lead in the period suspense drama Please give me a pair of wings. Ju was dubbed one of the most recognized Chinese actresses in web drama in the Hong Kong newspapers & received the Best Actress award at the China Canada Television Festival Award for her role in the Yunxi Legend. For the first time, Ju joined the Forbes China Celebrity 100 list, ranking 94. Forbes China also listed Ju as part of its 30 Under 30 Asia 2019 list, which consists of 30 prominent people under 30 years of age who had a major impact in their fields. In November, Ju released her third EP called Love Emergency Report.

In 2020, Ju played for the first time at the CCTV New Year’s Gala, performing a skit Like You Like Me. She is starring in the historic romance dramas In A Class Of Her Own alongside Song Weilong; and The Blooms at Ruyi Pavilion, reuniting with the legend of Yunxi co-star Zhang Zhehan.
