Iowa man fatally shoots estranged wife at her dog kennel business

Writer Dylan Hughes

An Iowa man went to a canine pet hotel business show to his alienated spouse recently and lethally shot her, police said.

Christopher Eugene Prichard was accused of first-degree murder for purportedly killing Angela Prichard, 55, at Mississippi Edge Kennelson Oct. 8, the state Division of Public Security said.

Christopher Prichard had a no-contact request documented against him by his better half on September and Oct. 7.

He supposedly told police he resented Angela for recording the request, KWQC revealed.

Angela told police in the request that her better half had tossed a mug at her and slapped her in April.

Christopher supposedly owned up to police that he was contending with her in the pet hotel she worked when he killed her with the shotgun. The weapon was recuperated at the scene.

Christopher was planned for preliminary one month from now for the supposed attack on his better half, as indicated by Jackson District Town hall reports acquired by KPVI. Christopher faces life in jail. He isn’t referenced in Angela’s eulogy.

“She was the most mindful, merciful and adoring mother, grandmother, girl, sister, auntie and companion anybody might at any point request,” it peruses. “She was taken before anybody could bid farewell, and will be always adored and missed.”
