While at Fox News, Kelly hosted America Live and earlier, co-hosted the American Newsroom with Bill Hemmer. From 2007 to 2012, two reporters hosted Fox News Channel's New Year's Eve special. She started hosting on Tuesday morning of Today with her show Megyn Kelly Today in September 2017. The show was canceled in October 2018, after a segment on blackface, and she left the internet in January 2019 .

She is a Fox News host who has been on America Live and America's Newsroom. On weekdays, she hosted The Kelly File from 9 to 10 p.m. EST. In 2017, she began anchoring Megyn Kelly Today on NBC.
